    Air Tractor Inc is one of the leading aircraft manufacturer in the United States and based in Olney, Texas. To satisfy his quest for building an aircraft for agricultural usage purpose, the owner of Snow Aeronautical , Mr. Leland Snow founded the Air Tractor Inc The AT-300 Air Tractor was the first vehicle out of this company’s stable and was quite popular among ranchers and small time farmers. Leland Snow built his first airplane, the S-1, in 1951. This air plane did duties till 1957as a spraying and dusting pesticides unit. Today, the Air Tractor Inc is so advanced that they sell 400, 500, 600 and 800-gallon capacity planes and ones which are propelled by turbine engines or the Pratt & Whitney piston ones.   • AT-402A & AT-402B
    Air Tractor Inc have been manufacturing aircrafts from such as the Air Tractor AT-400 from 1979. This was based on a family of the first agricultural air crafts built in the USA. The Air Tractor AT-400 is a monoplane taildragger with a low wing. Between its engine and cockpit, it carries a chemical hopper and hence it derived the name as monoplane taildragger. It had various versions based on the same platform. Those were the AT-400, AT-400A, AT-401, AT-401A, AT-401B, AT-402, AT-402A and AT-402B. The AT-402A and AT-402B are twin seater planes low cost turbine planes which are ideal for first time buyers of turbine small planes. The differentiation between the two AT-402A and AT-402B models from Air Tractor Inc is that the latter has a more powerful 680shp PT6A-15AG engine.   • Air Tractor AT-504 - trainee’s delight
    Air Tractor Inc cater to every personal needs of their customers. To attract more customers, they have even designed a trainer air plane for commercial purposes. The air plane in question is the Air Tractor AT-504. It is based on AT-500 family of air planes, built in aluminium, powered by a Pratt & Whitney PT6A-34AG turbodoller and features twin fuselages and a bigger chemical hopper. It is a 2 seater which does double duties as an agricultural aircraft. However its primary role is that of training trainee pilots. Having a side by side cockpit arrangement means that both the pilot as well as the trainee have access to the same level of information displayed.   • Overview of the Air Tractor AT-802
    The AT 802 is a fire fighting and an agricultural aircraft, which started operations from the US in late 90s of the last decade. Designed in the spring of ‘89, the prototype was named N802LS. Fuelled by the uniform approval, a second model ascended a year later with an engine configured as PT6A—45R. The Air Tractor AT 802 holds 2 hoppers and a Transland gatebox. The first hopper is located between the cockpit and the engine firewall and the other under the belly of the aircraft. According to the statistics of 2007, the AT 802 is the biggest agricultural aircraft to enter the market. This series of Air Tractor aircrafts make use of a tail-wheel and two main wheels (which is the conventional design for most aircrafts) as landing gears. There have been improvisations, for certain.
