The Agusta A109k II is basically a combination of A109C commercial helicopter and the A109K a military version. The helicopter is customized to serve air ambulance operators, police and air and rescue operations.

The Agusta A109k II has ability to work on high altitudes and high temperature operation in freezing conditions. The Agusta A109k II is with fixed wings rather than retractable wheels that on most A109 variants.

The helicopter is just the customized version of the A109K which is a military helicopter.
